TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)… In Chicago, Illinois, some workers missed (or forgot) the memo about the active shooter drill… Guess how that turned out… In Whitley County, Kentucky, Matthew Donnelly was reportedly involved in a hit and run on I-75 here… and sure enough, sheriff’s deputies arrived and found Matthew in his mint green Nissan Altima stopped in the fast lane… Now, you shouldn’t be stopped in the fast lane… and you certainly shouldn’t be stopped in the fast lane doing what Matthew was doing… In Port St. Lucie, Florida, James Walsh went to the local Walmart to do some Christmas shopping… and while there, picked up a 58-inch television… You could say that the deal he got was a “steal”… but then, he didn’t actually get it… So, if you were going to invest thousands of dollars in plastic surgery to look like a famous person… why would you choose this famous person? In Rocklin, California, Kevin Lee Co, 45, managed to embezzle about $6 million from the firm where he was manager of the accounting department… With those ill-gotten gains he bought some luxury cars, a golf club membership, and season tickets to the San Francisco 49ers and Sacramento Kings… But you’ll never guess where he managed to spend $1.34 million… And finally, in National Harbor, Maryland, Charles Caldwell III, 72, crashed into two cars as he left the grand opening celebration at MGM National Harbor casino and resort… Now, as you might imagine, alcohol was involved… which was somewhat awkward for Charles who, as it turns out, is the chairman of the Prince George’s County (Maryland) liquor license board… Indeed, that role… or more precisely, his repeated reminders to the arresting officers as to what his job was… and what he asked them to do as a result… was what really got him in trouble… Have a great weekend, folks!
