Health benefits advisory firm and HSA provider TILT has announced a new partnership with eHealth, Inc., that will allow TILT users to easily compare employer-sponsored health plans with options available to them under Medicare.
“Although millennials comprise the workforce’s largest segment, many companies also employ people 65+ years old who face the choice of opting into an employer-sponsored health plan or Medicare,” says Jamie Greenleaf, founder of TILT.
Greenleaf explains that the relationship will give employees on their platform, regardless of their age, “transparent and clear information regarding cost differentials, allowing them to determine which healthcare plan is appropriate for their specific needs.” Users will also be able contact an eHealth insurance agent to get answers to their questions, according to the announcement.
