UBS Rebrands Retirement Plan Consulting Business

UBS Wealth Management Americas announced March 17 that it has renamed its retirement plan consulting business, UBS Retirement Plan Consulting Services. The business was formerly known as the DC Advisory Program.

"As a result of plan sponsor demand for a consultant to help them manage their fiduciary responsibilities in this changing environment, our business is experiencing significant growth," explained Gene Silverman, Head of Corporate Retirement Plans for UBS Wealth Management Americas. "The retirement plan landscape has shifted, and plan sponsors today face heightened scrutiny."

UBS Retirement Plan Consulting Services comprises a national network of experienced Retirement Plan Consultants who serve more than 1,400 retirement plans, representing more than $55 billion in plan assets. According to the rebranding announcement, UBS was ranked among the top five consultants in the industry in two key areas: total number of DC consulting plans and total number of consulting plans with assets less than $50 million.
