Only plan advisors know how important their local DC wholesaler can be in growing, building and managing their practice. We call them “DC Wingmen” because if they are doing their job, they have your back. And only you know which Wingmen are really good and truly add value. Our first annual "DC Wingmen" list, published in March 2014, quickly became an industry staple.
So here’s your chance to acknowledge all the hard work your wholesalers do. The best ones go out of their way to support you — now you can repay them by going to NAPA’s 2015 DC Top Wholesaler voting site and supporting them. It only takes a minute.
The process is simple. First we asked all NAPA record keeping and DCIO Firm Partners to submit a list of their wholesalers. The compiled list is now on the voting site. If you don’t find your wholesaler listed, just email their name, company and location to [email protected]. Now it’s your turn to cast your vote. Voting ends soon, so don't put it off!
The results of the voting will be evaluated by a blue ribbon panel of plan advisors. Winners will be announced right before the NAPA 401(k) Summit in San Diego March 22-24, 2015 and in the Spring 2015 issue of NAPA Net the Magazine. As they say, some restrictions apply:
- Wholesalers and industry pros can vote for colleagues, but not for wholesalers within their own firms.
- Votes from Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail addresses will not be accepted.
So if your wholesaler has done anything to help you build, grow or manage your DC practice, let us know by voting for them and letting the rest of the industry know what you already know — that your wholesaler is one of the best. And wholesalers, it’s perfectly fine to campaign for votes or submit your own name if you’re not listed. After all, that's how democracy works, right?
