Well, it was another exciting weekend of football—and now we know the teams that will compete in Super Bowl LVI. So, who will you be rooting for?
Fans of the Chiefs and 49ers are surely disappointed (and let’s not forget those of the Titans, Buccaneers, Packers, Bills, Steelers, Cardinals, Cowboys, Raiders, Patriots and Eagles)—Super Bowl LVI will feature the Los Angeles Rams against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ironically, though the game will be played on the Rams home field, the Bengals will be the home team for this year’s contest (Feb. 13).
Not only did the Bengals win the postseason for the first time since 1991, they notched up the first road playoff win in franchise history and return to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 1988—and that was the longest drought in the league. Indeed, if the Bengals win it all, they would tie the 1999 Rams as the longest preseason long shot to ever win it all.
But as the past two weekends have shown us—it’s never over until—well, it’s over. This week—whoever you were backing during the playoffs (or regular season), we’d like to give you a chance to weigh in on the big match-up.
