Yes, the 401(k) Summit is Happening!

Conferences & Events

More than 1,800 industry professionals—and roughly 900 retirement plan advisors—have registered for the NAPA 401(k) Summit, which—armed with a robust set of safety protocols—will be live in Las Vegas next month!

The past 18 months have been full of uncertainty, and while a number of other in-person industry events have been delayed or cancelled, the NAPA 401(k) Summit has made the commitment to provide a safe and comfortable live event for the nation’s retirement plan advisors.

Our conferences team has been in active collaboration with local government agencies and hotel properties during the past several months to ensure that we comply fully with local regulations and requirements as we work to ensure that attendees are comfortable and safe.

Safety Protocols

The safety measures that will be taken include:

  • For our general sessions and workshop rooms, a variety of seating options will be available. The city of Las Vegas is requiring masks to be worn indoors by all individuals. However, the mask mandate does not require attendees to wear face coverings while eating or drinking, or at outdoor events, including NAPA New Year at Monday’s NAPA Summit After Dark celebration.
  • The exhibit hall has been laid out with 10-foot aisles and 20-foot cross-aisles to ensure effective traffic flow and to allow ample space for attendees to move freely through the exhibit hall.
  • Our host hotel (Mandalay Bay) has put into place protocols for all of their employees, including screening questions and training programs on health and safety protocols. At the hotel, security personnel on staff will be able to assist should a guest develop symptoms while staying at Mandalay Bay.
  • Mandalay Bay has taken rigorous measures to increase fresh air circulation throughout their buildings and guest rooms with air filters that meet or exceed published standards.
  • Increased cleaning schedules are in place for common areas and high-contact touchpoints, such as doorknobs, escalator railings and elevators, and state-of-the-art electrostatic spray surface technology is deployed nightly in all event spaces.
  • There will also be wellness packs in the rooms (each hotel guest gets two masks and hand sanitizer).
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the Convention Center and at meals.
  • Meals, breaks, and receptions at the Convention Center have been redesigned by Mandalay Bay to enhance safety. The number of food and beverage stations throughout the hotel and at the Summit will be increased to ensure easy access and reduce crowding; and hotel staff will be present to clean and refresh the space throughout the Summit.
  • Optional ribbons will be available for anyone who wants to indicate a social distancing preference.

Virtual Option

Now, for those who aren’t able to make the trip, we previously announced a “virtual” option that will provide access to live streaming of all Summit General Sessions and a series of select workshops. Virtual attendees will also have to access to information about Summit Sponsors and Exhibitors through the online platform. Virtual attendees will have access to the session recordings until December 31. Additional information about this option is available at https://napasummit.org/virtual-option/.

There may be a lot of uncertainty about COVID, but you can be confident that the agenda, the speakers and the networking at the 2021 NAPA 401(k) Summit will be world-class. This is the nation’s retirement plan advisor convention—and we’re better together!

It's not too late to register for the NAPA 401(k) Summit—you can do so online at https://napasummit.org.
