OneDigital Unveils Small Business Retirement Solution

OneDigital has launched Complete Retirement Solution for Small Business, a comprehensive offering aimed at providing institutional-quality financial benefits and personalized advice to all employees.

Targeted at organizations with 100 employees or less, the solution includes a defined contribution plan, along with a financial wellness component providing individualized support from financial wellness coaches and personalized investment management inside the plan.

“The research is loud and clear; employees are asking us for help,” stated Vince Morris, President of OneDigital Retirement + Wealth. “Conversations about money are technical and often highly emotional. Our solution is different because it not only includes access to a plan but personalized coaching and advice.”

OneDigital notes that the solution follows recent legislative changes that made it easier and more cost-effective for businesses to add a retirement plan to their benefits package.

In addition to acting as fiduciaries at the individual level, financial mentors also work with employees to understand their investment objectives and financial goals, creating customized portfolios specific to those objectives and adjusting allocations to changing market conditions and life events.

“We are providing employees of all ages and income levels access to the type of personalized wealth management and investment advice previously only available to high-net-worth individuals and fund line-ups traditionally only available in the mega-plan market,” adds Morris.

The solution also includes:

  • integration with existing health benefits coverages, providing a seamless employee-benefit experience;
  • the same flexible features and benefits of a traditional 401(k) plan inside of a pooled-plan;
  • the ability to outsource administrative and fiduciary responsibilities; and
  • ongoing investment support and advice at the employer level including selection, monitoring and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance.
