While once fast-paced M&A in the retirement plan space has slowed, it hasn’t stopped, and deals continue to move forward.
USI Consulting Group has acquired Hooker & Holcombe, a Bloomfield, Connecticut-based regional provider of actuarial, investment advisory, and retirement plan consulting services, the companies announced on Monday.
Hooker & Holcombe employs 68 financial professionals led by President Richard S. Sych. The firm has serviced municipal, corporate, and non-profit organizations since its founding in 1956, as well as providing strategic solutions for the planning, execution, and management of retirement plans.
High-profile M&A advisory firm Wise Rhino Group served as advisor to the partners of Hooker & Holcombe.
