Retireholics’ Carlson Brothers Launch Financial Services Creative Studio

Sales & Marketing

Describing its mission as “to do away with uninspired design and inject creativity into the financial services field,” J.D. and Brandon Carlson, the sibling duo behind the irreverent Retireholics webcast and proprietors of California-based TPA Plan Design Consultants, announced they launched Seventy5 Studios.

“Brandon and I have been working really hard for a year and a half to build the internal operations and chassis for this new company,” older brother J.D. Carlson said. “This is what we love to do, so I can’t tell you how excited we are for the journey ahead of us.”

According to the Carlsons, the company offers a range of services, including concept development, product rollout, branding, logo design, websites, sales collateral, corporate identity, event/conference design, and product strategy.

Samara Zarco Goytortua is the third member of the leadership team, whom they called “a multi-disciplinary designer, and as creative director, she not only leads the team but was integral in the build-out of internal operations and the user experience.”

Being born from the industry gives Seventy5 Studios a unique advantage in that it “understands the space’s unique challenges and is committed to helping companies navigate them through innovative and creative design solutions.”

“There is a sea of sameness out there right now, and it doesn’t reflect the unique products, passionate professionals, and overall coolness of our industry, [so] our mission is to change that,” J.D. Carlson said. “It’s about solving problems, standing out, and driving results. Our industry does cool things; it’s about time that our message and our aesthetic inspire and excite as well.”

“Design is about shaping impressions,” younger brother Brandon concluded. “There is a science behind it all, a psychology and a strategy.”
