TGI…Thanksgiving (Eve)!

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, Thanksgiving notwithstanding you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”:

11 Movies to Get You Into the Thanksgiving Spirit (well, mostly)

Why Air Travel Is Uniquely Terrible Right Now—and How to Make It Bearable

Can you take home a dead bear found in Tennessee?

And now for the main “events”:

Florida man breaks into KFC, secret recipe remains safe, detectives say

In Evansville, Indiana, an unnamed individual won a “large amount” of money at a local casino… stopped off at the Esquire Motel here…got online, contacted a woman online to come meet him there… and then, well, things…deteriorated…

In Leicester, Massachusetts, a crash in a Walmart Supercenter parking lot left a vehicle in …well, see for yourself…

In Catalonia, Spain, 20 (unnamed) people were detained on suspected electricity fraud and offenses against public health…oh, alongside the largest mari.juana bust in the country ever… how much?  Well, according to the news report, it weighed more than… huh?

In Torrance, California, as getaway vehicles go, this one is pretty snazzy…

In Cape May, New Jersey, an unnamed man (now a burglary suspect) used several tools to break into the rear door of a home here…including the dismantling of a security camera… there was just one problem with that approach…

And finally, in Framingham, Massachusetts, two unnamed men were found asleep in an F-150 truck…parked in the State Police Weston Barracks along the Mass. Pike…around 3:30 am…in two parking spaces…ACROSS two spaces perpendicular to the lines designated for state police parking… think alcohol was involved?

And finally (finally), as you make preparations for Thanksgiving, an excerpt from what may well be the funniest TV episode ever about the holiday:

This, however, is a close second (and perhaps not as widely appreciated):

Hope you all have a great—and safe—Thanksgiving—and for many of you (and us), a long weekend, folks!

See you back here on Monday!
