TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek – and yet, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

First, some odds and ends…

In Northampton, Massachusetts, city officials have given a $20,000 grant to the Northampton Vibrance Committee…to support the design and manufacture of four custom manhole covers…yes, this is part of the city's plan to distribute $4 million from the American Rescue Plan… that notwithstanding, what could possibly constitute a custom manhole cover design?

Funny? Or frightening?

A Ukrainian saboteur…pigeon

In Baldwin, Florida, a semi-trailer truck was involved in an accident on I-10 Westbound at US-301 here…leading to a spill of its cargo…officials said that everyone needed to BEE careful…

Apparently Tik-Tok IS useful for individuals who don’t know how to…what?

In Manassas, Virginia, traffic got snarled to a crawl this past Monday morning… and you’ll never guess why…

A “cow killer” ant?

In Seattle, Washington… could THIS be the pothole of the year?

And now for the main “events”:

Near Columbus, Ohio, one Donald Bertram pulled up to the home of Timothy Huff…whilst Timothy was outside doing yardwork… Donald then got out of his car, walked into the open garage…picked up a $500 leaf blower…and drove off…but, believe it or not, the Ohio Supreme Court has ruled that Donald’s actions didn’t constitute burglary because…

In Auburn, Maine, employees at a local restaurant here received delivery of a large wooden crate…one that they thought was a shipment of mugs the recently ordered…but it turned out to be something that only RHYMED with mugs…

In Providence, Rhode Island, Francisco Medrano, 36, was having trouble sleeping…so he drove down the street to get some fast food one recent early Saturday morning…returned to his home, and was eating in his driveway…when he heard a car pull up behind him…and then a grinding noise…and then… omg…

And finally, in Nicholas County, West Virginia, Zela Elementary School Principal James Marsh was opening a school dumpster lid around 7:15 a.m. Monday… and then, this…. And yes, we have video…and you WON’T want to miss it!

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! Have a happy Cinco de Mayo!
