TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and yet, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Gustavo Frazao/Shutterstock.comFirst, some odds and ends…

In Columbus, Ohio, Harry Blackledge, 53, was recently inducted into the hall of fame. No, not THAT hall of fame. This one.

On Treasure Island, Florida, an unnamed cop on foot patrol…came across a very large alligator sleeping on one of Florida’s Gulf Coast beaches…but then…

In Klamath Falls, Oregon, an F-15 jet made a water landing…an UNPLANNED water landing…

In Burnsville, Minnesotathe headline says it all.

In Boulder, Colorado, researchers at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and NASA have analyzed almost 1,000 near-Earth objects (NEOs) larger than a kilometer in size…and projected movements ahead a thousand years… so, is there a “killer asteroid” in your future?

And now for the main “events”:

Near Defuniak Springs, Florida, an unnamed driver caused a multi-vehicle crash…or, more specifically, "a road obstruction because of a reptilian obstruction." And yes, we have video.

In Kent County, Michigan, Shannon Jean Soltys, 51, wanted to get some “medications” into the local jail here…so she labeled it as being legal documents from an attorney…and addressed it to an inmate in the Kent County Jail…there was just one thing wrong with this plan…

In Henderson, Kentucky, Demetrius Nelson broke into a local Goodwill…he was apprehended…but you’ll never guess what explanation he had for his actions…

In Anderson County, South Carolina, Anthony Miller and Cemeka Mitchem were pulled over by sheriff’s deputies on I-85 as part of a “proactive patrol”…but law enforcement became suspicious when the two suspects provided "conflicting information" about Cameka’s due date…at which point Cameka decided to make a dash for freedom…but just as she exited the car, a premature “delivery”—of sorts—occurred…

And finally, in Springfield, Colorado, an unnamed driver was pulled over…for driving 52 mph in a 30-mph zone…but apparently he had been drinking, and so, to avoid a DUI charge he tried to switch places with a passenger in his car… as the officer approached the car…but there wasn’t much chance this was going to work…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
