TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and yet, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comFirst, some odds and ends…

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a video that it claims shows Ukrainian armored vehicles… including at least one German-made Leopard tank…being destroyed. Maybe they shouldn’t have showed the video…

As theme parks go, this one is pretty unique, if a little cheesy ...

In South Auckland, New Zealand, motorists on State Highway 1 found themselves “stuck” in the middle of a “sticky” situation…

How much would YOU pay for this tattoo? Or how much would you sue them for?

And now for the main “events”:

At Niagara Falls, Ontario, Andrew Lee Toppenberg, 60, followed GPS coordinates that were apparently entered incorrectly…much to his chagrin…

In Calumet City, Illinois, three as-yet-unnamed suspects led police on a long chase…including “a lot of zig zagging on the expressway at a high rate of speed” that began in Chicago, and wound up at the River Oaks Mall here…before managing to make their escape by ducking into the mall and…what?

In Cincinnati, Ohio, Chad A. Murdock, 32, hijacked a vehicle…raced through corn fields…and numerous yards…and across state lines into Indiana…before being stopped by a “tire deflation device”… so, what kind of vehicle did he manage this feat in? Well, certainly not what you’d expect…

In Saginaw County, Michigan, an unnamed male made off with a silver 2017 Buick Encore…on the one hand, it belonged to his mother…on the other hand, he was kind of young to be stealing a car…

In Spring Hill, Florida, Vanessa Ortega, 31, entered the Wells Fargo branch here around 12:30 pm…holding a bright blue object in her left hand…that (allegedly) resembled a firearm…and then raised the aforementioned bright blue object in the air and then yelled, "This is a robbery; give me all your money”…then walked over to the teller window and did…this…

And finally, in Miami Gardens, Florida, an as-yet-unnamed individual broke into the Irepair Tech here about 4 am one recent Saturday…smashed glass displays, and swiping 19 iphones—and $8,000 in cash… there was a surveillance camera video…though he had the foresight to disguise his face…well, he wore a box over his head…which might have been enough to obscure his identity…but for…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
