In Casselberry, Florida, police responded around 9:55 a.m. one recent morning to a two-vehicle crash here…a Lexus RX and a Ford Explorer…and sought to speak to the driver of the latter, Yubetty Baez Collazo…who apparently only spoke Spanish…and did so with some difficulty…doubtless due in no small part to the bottle she tossed into the back seat…
In Kinnelon, New Jersey, a homeowner…who was apparently feeling deprived of the ability to “watch sunrise light up [the] New York City skyline like gold”… cut down 32 large trees to remedy that situation…there was just one problem with his approach (well 32 of them, actually)…
In Porterville, California, Ray Brewer, 66, was recently sentenced to six years and nine months in jail…for his orchestration of an $8.75 million Ponzi scheme…that was based on “bs”… literally…
In Alsace, France, an unnamed pilot was flying from Germany into France…and, then for reasons unknown, opted to fly over the Fessenheim nuclear power plant here…and, despite repeated warnings from the air operations command…continued to do so… which led to the summoning of a French Air Force Rafale fighter jet from Saint-Dizier Air Base…to intercept and escort the flight….which led to the pilot of the aforementioned private plane deciding that he needed to dispose of some…cargo…before landing and…
