TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek …and yet, there’s no shortage of…well, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comFirst, some odds and ends…

In Dublin, Ireland, a “huge, mysterious crater that looks out of this world” recently appeared on a local beach… well, looks CAN be deceiving (apparently)…

That’s going to be one messed up kid…

In Millbury, Massachusetts, enterprising real estate agent Erika Kristal Eucker has added an unusual feature to this real estate listing…

A glossary for would-be …pirates?  Sorry we missed “talk like a pirate day” (September 19)

In Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ellen Chaudoir recently found something unusual under the hood of her car…

Now THAT’S some cool drone footage…

In Jacksonville, Florida, folks who were parked in the parking garage of a local hospital recently got a big – and unpleasant – surprise.

And now for the main “events”:

In Charleston, South Carolina, an unnamed couple pulled into a local Wendys…upset because they said their order was wrong…and for some unknown reason didn’t consider a refund to be sufficient “penance”… which led to a verbal fight…which led to the male of the couple getting out of the car…which led to the staff locking the drive-thru window…which led to… well, believe it or not, bats and a broom

Near Hahnville, Georgia, Melvin Emde, 41, was taken into custody after a traffic stop and subsequent motorcycle crash… but that was all the more amazing because he had supposedly drowned last month…on the same day he was supposed to be in court in North Carolina…though the authorities had their suspicions…

This title alone could make for an amazing true crime story…

In Aalborg, Denmark, Jens Haaning, 58, had been engaged by the Kunsten Museum to create for them (for a fee of about $72,000) a couple of paintings… the museum isn’t too thrilled with the delivery, however… though the project was entitled “Take the Money and Run”… and yes, we have pictures (of the pictures)…

And finally, in Orchard Park, New York, an unnamed 29-year-old Buffalo Bills fan… jumped over a fence by the stadium construction site on the west side of Highmark Stadium….and fell 30-40 feet…but only sustained a cut on his forehead… but this individual, who was definitely under the influence of drugs and alcohol, had to be rescued from the hole he fell into… and that wasn’t the end of it…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!  And happy last day of summer!
