TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek …and yet, there’s (still) no shortage of…well, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comFirst, some odds and ends…

In Cape Coral, Florida, and unnamed driver for reasons undisclosed lost control of his Dodge Challenger…whereafter he left the road…went through a yard…hit a bump… and ultimately launched his car into a nearby canal… and yes, because we know you’d want to know, there is video…

Near San Francisco, California, if that recent 5.7 magnitude earthquake didn’t seem that big… there’s a reason…

In Chicago, Illinois, at O’Hare International Airport, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials were surprised to find some odd things in two passengers’ luggage…

In San Rafael, California…the Museum of International Propaganda…or is it?

In Commerce, Oklahoma, you can now acquire shares in the boyhood home of New York Yankees star Mickey Mantle…for less than you might think…or more than you might think they're worth…

And now for the main “events”:

In Toronto, Canada, Michael Stamatakos, 31, currently serving a two-year sentence for arson, uttering death threats, possession of a Schedule 1 substance, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and fleeing from police…is being sought by police for violating parole… they’ve issued a mugshot…and, based on that, it shouldn’t be too hard to track him down…

In Farmington Hills, Michigan, Brian Roussey, 31, was recently sentenced to 128 days’ incarceration and two years’ probation for “organized retail fraud”—and ordered to pay $20,108 in restitution to Target…guess what he was stealing?

In South Fulton, Georgia, residents finally got police to investigate the “goings on” at a noisy neighbor’s house… and there were definitely some “goings on” going on…

In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jeffrey Arista, 32, Jonathan Arista, 29, and Raymond Gomez, 33, recently hatched an unsuccessful kidnapping plot…with a series of odd “twists”… not the least of which they started by kidnapping the wrong person… but ended with that wrong person calling in a bomb threat…honestly, you can’t make this stuff up….

And finally, in Pencombe, Herefordshire, UK, law enforcement is trying to track down thefts from the Ludlow Autograss Club here… some 35 units…each of which would reportedly cost about £1,000 to replace…right now, police have nothing to “go” on… check the link, and you’ll understand…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
