TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek…and yet, there’s (still) no shortage of…well, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comSomewhere near Boston, Massachusetts, an Air Atlanta Icelandic flight flying from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Liege Airport in Belgium had to be diverted… due to an unruly passenger…

In Colfax, Iowa, Aaron Bartholmey, has been officially awarded a Guinness World Records title…for his collection of…what?

In Cape Town, South Africa, Elitha Peachey…a self-described, golfer, spontaneous soul and animal lover… well, let’s just say she had what can aptly be termed an … unexpected course…hazard…

In West Essex, UK, a painting by Joshua Reynolds recently underwent a restoration…and in the process restored…oh, wow—that’s really creepy!

This city has the worst traffic in the United States.

And now for the main “events”:

Near Apopka, Florida, Timothy Hogue, 37, was speeding in a 2006 Cadillac CTS… which led to a police chase…when he crashed…which ended a series of car burglaries… and treated us all to a classic…and ironic…mug shot

In Dunedin, Florida, Sara Fazekas, 55, and Robert Clarke, 60, managed to check something off their bucket list…unfortunately for them (and presumably for the crowd at the beach where it happened)… they did so in front of a crowd at the beach…

In Washington, DC, an unnamed woman was pulled over in the wee hours one recent Saturday morning for drunk driving… and shortly thereafter her boyfriend, John Bewley, pulled up…apparently she had been on the phone with him when she was pulled over… well, John was apparently belligerent to the officers on the scene…who were attempting to conduct a field sobriety test… where upon he “made multiple attempts to interfere and obstruct Ofc. Griffin and her DUI suspect … by approaching and yelling at the suspect and telling her to leave the scene with him”… he also “repeatedly walked past officers and up to Ofc. Griffin and the DUI suspect after Ofc. Griffin and other officers told him to stay away from the scene.”  All of which were bad enough…except that, as it turns out, John was himself under the influence… and then, there’s the little matter of his employment status…

And finally, in Glendale, Wisconsin, law enforcement spotted a Dodge Durango driving recklessly…tried to stop him with “stop sticks”…didn’t… Durango headed into oncoming traffic…caused a crash with two other vehicles…drove onto a nearby golf course…and then the four individuals inside that vehicle fled the aforementioned vehicle… which turns out to have been a STOLEN vehicle… but what’s amusing about this tale is where the individuals chose to hideout on that golf course…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
