TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek …and even though 2024 is (still) barely underway…well, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comInteresting…for a while, anyway…

In Southern Victoria, Australia, an unnamed fisherman pulled an unusual creature from the sea. Do you know what it is?

The Moose on the Loose...

In Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, Jason Eidern has a problem…more specifically, his house has a problem…more specifically, it keeps getting hit by trucks…how many trucks? Thought you’d never ask…

In case you (like I) missed this… “phenomena”…

In Bailey, Colorado, Dave and Stephanie Kott have a problem with their house…or more specifically, they have a problem with cars hitting their house… how many times? Thought you’d never ask…

And now for the main “events”:

In Caledon, Ontario, Canada, an unnamed 25-year-old had just gotten his driver’s license…when he “flew past an unmarked police vehicle”…at an alleged registered speed of 50 km/h above the limit…whilst weaving in and around other vehicles in a “careless manner.”…but that wasn’t the worst of it…

In South Brunswick, New Jersey, James Leonard, 41, made a number of purchases over a period of months at a local Wawa…about $600 worth…using fake money…how fake? Well, of course we have pictures…

In Mountain Brook, Alabama, Connor Padgett…well, got himself into quite a predicament…and on his way to escaping said predicament…also managed to “break” the Internet… and yes we have video…

In Murray, Utah, Laree Nichole Willis, 36, and Gabrielle Marie Baker, 33, went to Tim Dahle Mazda here…and went to buy a 2024 Mazda CX30…but did so providing a false social security number on the applications…and Laree gave the dealership a photocopy of a fake Arizona driver’s license and a fake pay stub…and then they did… this…

In Annandale, Virginia, a retail theft ring (Paris Teresa Hooks, 20, Miyara Ghiselle Fletcher, 19, Shaniya Briyanna Clark, 19, and Kevin Wormley, 32) made off with $4,500 in handbags from a high-end store (Bloomingdale’s) at Tysons Center…hopped into a Chevy Suburban…and made their getaway…but their timing—and escape route—weren’t well planned…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! A three-day one for many…including us, courtesy of the MLK Day holiday! See you back here on Tuesday.
