TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek …and (nearly) another month…and just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comIn Wales, UK…here are some things that DON’T warrant a call for an ambulance (though they have apparently been used)…

In Chicago, Illinois…there’s apparently a hot new tourist attraction… it’s a pothole…of which the Windy City has aplenty…but it has a unique shape…

In Nottingham, UK, a trio of individuals have uncovered a new…and pretty creepy…new option on their Tesla…

A newspaper in 1924 predicted what life would be like in 2024 …and while some were pretty close, what about beds flinging children out of bed in the morning, people hopping from planet to planet as easily as we soar through the sky now, flying clothes…and men’s legs withering away from underuse? …

Here are the personalized license plates you (apparently) can’t get in Pennsylvania…CAMRY? Gandalf?

In Atlanta, Georgia, it’s another bad day for Boeing…

In Tillamook, Oregon, an unnamed driver of a stolen car…having already disregarded the law regarding such things…proceeded to ignore a “closed road” sign… with what can most appropriately be labeled as…foreseeable results…and yes, we have pictures…

And now for the main “events”:

In Altoona, Pennsylvania, Andrew Booker, 29, had reported a burglary to police dating back to February 2023….when he said that someone broke into the home…and took various items…including his then father-in-law’s safe…with his life savings of $2 million inside…now there was always something a little sketchy about his story…the house key taken from a pot on the back porch being left on the counter….a second safe that was left untouched that had documents and another $1.5 million inside… but then… this…

In Monroe, Louisiana, Darren Pittman, 26, who allegedly had been selling illicit substances from a two-bedroom apartment…but when law enforcement arrived to make an arrest…well, Darren was nowhere to be seen…and the 766-square-foot apartment did not offer an abundance of places to hide…but they found him…here…

And finally, in Quinte West, Ontario, Canada, a trio of unnamed “hooligans” were up to no good here…when one of them decided he’d break a window (or perhaps break THROUGH a window) of a local business… to do so, he pickup up a large planter…and went to toss it through the window…. and then… this.   And yes, we have video…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
