TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek…and yet, just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comIn Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a recent collision between an Amazon van….and an Amtrak train…got caught on video… nobody hurt (incredibly—driver missed by INCHES), but some shocking video footage…

So, what ARE the odds of an old satellite crashing to earth and landing on your head? They’re NOT zero…

In Wellesley, Massachusetts, an unnamed driver of a red Audi A4 sedan…mistook the gas pedal for the brake…with predictable, but still somewhat incredible results…and yes, we have pictures…

In Dayton, Ohio, well, it never gets old. And yes, we have video.

And now for the main “events”:

In Delco, Pennsylvania, Mark Perrotta, 60, has set an example NO ONE should follow…multiple DUIs…how many? Thought you’d never ask… and check out his last one…

In Huntington Station, New York, an as-yet-unnamed trio held up a 7-Eleven here…and made off with $640 worth of… well, one assumes they made a quick getaway…

In Sutton, Massachusetts, Harvey Johnson was arrested after being spotted in a suspicious vehicle…sure enough, when the officer approached, he spotted Harvey with what was believed to be drug paraphernalia…and…what?

In Cumberland Valley Township, Pennsylvania, some as-yet-unnamed thieves broke into a house and got away with engagement rings valued at $1,500; a gold turtle necklace, $25; blue diamond ring, $250; ruby ring, $150; ruby necklace, $150; jade necklace, $50; diamond heart necklace, $500; silver dollars, $20; and $30 in loose change. Oh, and 20 Zimbabwe 100 trillion-dollar bills. Worth more than you might imagine…

In Archibald, Pennsylvania, Jiahao Xiao, 29, was recently arrested for having conspired with other unknown people to deceive Ferdinando Santarelli, 59, into wiring money that Santarelli believed was invested in companies…Ferdinando was lured into the scam by "Jennie," an online persona with whom he chatted on the encrypted messaging app Telegram…who said she loved him…the scammers assured Ferdinando that he had access to more than $2 million in an investment account….but first needed to pay off hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes…so, what mistake did the scammer make?

In Sandusky, Ohio, Carnel Gittens, 28, was arrested early one recent Saturday morning…about 1:20 am…using an exterior outlet to charge his phone outside the public library here…the good news is, Carnel said he had obtained permission to do so… the bad news? His source is…questionable…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
