TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Lancaster, Kentucky, Raymond Pace, 47, called police to report a stolen laptop… but when an officer arrived to investigate, he found Raymond not only intoxicated, but asking to be jailed… for several months… His reasons were “complicated”…. but suffice it to say, where there’s a will…

In Flowood, Mississippi, Odis Latham, 47, and Russell Sparks, 48, both wound up at the local Lottery office here with winning tickets… $100,000 winning tickets… except, of course, they weren’t… and believe it or not, trying to cash a counterfeit lottery ticket is a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine… so, how did Odis and Russell hope to fool lottery officials?

In Lake Worth Beach, Florida, police officers responded to reports of “someone screaming for help”… and sure enough… but the someone wasn’t just anyone…

In West Monroe, Louisiana, Candyce Neel, 41, apparently thought her choice of hiding places for her meth stash would fool the authorities… instead, it seems fair to say that Candyce was something of a “dope”…

In South Bend, Indiana, Lisa O’Donnell, pulled into a GoLo gas station here, flashed ID, and proceeded to press the clerk to let her view the station’s security cameras… Feeling that something was amiss, the clerk summoned law enforcement… who, when they pulled Lisa over, asked her intent… to which she said that there had been passing of counterfeit money… and she needed to obtain gas station video… Asked who she worked for, Lisa responded, “CIA.” But that didn’t quite mesh…

In West Palm Beach, Florida, the Holiday Inn Express is now apparently offering a free car wash…

And finally, in Lemont, Illinois, Tommy Mecher wanted to go snowmobiling in Bessemer, Michigan… but Tommy didn’t own, and apparently didn’t want to rent, a trailer with which to tow the aforementioned snowmobile… so he did this instead…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
