In Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, an unnamed would-be burglar smashed the glass of the front door of the Cell Clinic here… and then managed to push through a security gate… at least after the gate bows and flexes… allowing him to slide underneath… and in with the merchandise… now, this activity sets off alarms… and he goes to make his escape… and then…
In Lafayette, Indiana, Shawn Yoakum, 42, went to rob the Village Pantry here… pulled a knife and demanded money from the two convenience store clerks… who closed the protective glass that surrounds the checkout area… making it impossible for Shawn to harm the clerks… so he left… but identifying him for police was remarkably easy…
And finally, near Gallup, New Mexico, Madelin Iraheta Coreas was spotted around 2 a.m. nearly hitting a police officer head-on at an I-40 off-ramp… which forced the officer to swerve off the road to get out of the way… which led to the officer pursuing Madelin… at speeds of up to 120 mph on the icy interstate… which led to Madelin spinning out across the median and crashing into a pickup truck… so what explanation did Madelin offer for her behavior?
