TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Without question, this has been another rough week—all of us affected in one way or another, and many still suffering loss of life and loved ones. I hope you’re well, and safe—and offer the following in hopes that it will provide a brief respite in your day at this critical time…

In Royal Oak, Michigan, Brenden Ray Graves, 18, was sitting in a blue pickup truck here about 4:30 am… honking its horn incessantly in the back parking lot of Towne Place Suites here… Police were summoned… but when they arrived, Brenden fled south… “at a high speed”… Police gave chase… but subsequently terminated the pursuit… and were leaving the scene… when they saw the same vehicle heading south… in the northbound lanes… and then things got weird… and yes, we have video…

In Atlanta, Georgia, Seniqua Lunsford, 38, was involved in a car crash here around 6:00 a.m…. She jumped out of her vehicle, then jumped into a nearby van… and drove off… but she should have looked in the back…

We’re all taking advantage of new drop-off and drive-by opportunities, but in Portland, Oregon, a new entrant is, among its normal offerings, handing out rolls of TP to the first 70 customers… Ah, but its normal offerings…

Near Chesapeake, Virginia, Wayne Boone was driving a 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer west on Interstate 64 at 8:43 a.m…. when a gust of wind… pushed his empty trailer into another lane… at which point Wayne lost control of the truck… and the tractor-trailer hit the side of the High Rise Bridge… and then… well, we have video…

Apparently, some people have a little too much time on their hands…

In Taneytown, Maryland, an unnamed individual has been called out by the local police department on social media… but for what, you won’t believe…

In Adelaide, UK, an unnamed shopper has attempted to return thousands of dollars’ worth of supplies to a local supermarket… and now we have a bit more insight into what happened with all the hand sanitizer and TP supplies…

In Essex, UK, an unnamed individual made an emergency call… to 911 (technically, 999 in the UK)… and while their concern was no doubt sincere… suffice it to say that this was not actually an emergency…

In Houston, Texas, one Oscar Ramirez heard an unnamed man screaming for help… and he spotted him on a nearby rooftop… Turns out the screaming man was stuck in a pipe… so, what was he doing on a rooftop such that he got stuck in a pipe?

For those looking to add a little pizazz to your remote conferencing…

And finally, remember that awesome “Groundhog Day” commercial that ran during the Super Bowl? It’s been updated for the current environment…

Have a great weekend, folks! Stay safe, stay healthy, be strong—we’ve got this!
