TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Another long and tumultuous week… we continue to wish you and yours safety and good health – and offer the following in hopes that it will provide a brief respite in your day at this (still) critical time…

In Attleboro, Massachusetts, Joseph Villa, 52, was arrested around 11 a.m. one recent morning… after police had found his wallet at the Capron Park Zoo here… and reviewed surveillance video from the night before that proved he had broken into the zoo… So, why did Joseph say he had transgressed?  Well, yes alcohol played a role… but the actual motivation?

When you open that Amazon package delivery, you might want to double check the contents… carefully…

In Largo, Florida, Tanya Cordero, 47, was arrested one recent evening after an altercation with her 39-year-old boyfriend… an altercation triggered when the boyfriend (with whom she shares four children) allegedly closed a window in her room (which was in a mobile home owned by the boyfriend’s mother)… at which point Tanya struck him… with a… what?

In Bautzen, Germany, an unnamed 29-year-old thief was looking to make off with about $5 worth of goods at a supermarket here… but fled instead when he set off an alarm… Now, he also happened to fall, and wound up in the hospital as a result… but his really big mistake?

In San Diego, California, an unnamed individual broke into a local Wells Fargo branch here… about 3:30 am… setting off a burglar alarm… When police arrived to investigate, they found the individual… who offered an unusual explanation for his “activity”…

And finally, in Summerville, South Carolina, the seniors of Ashley Ridge High School held an in-person, but socially distanced, graduation ceremony recently… taking advantage of the space afforded by the school’s football field, they moved the ceremony outdoors… and then, just as Principal Karen Radcliffe began to introduce the school’s valedictorian and salutatorian… well, see for yourself…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! Be safe. Stay healthy.
