TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Another long and tumultuous week… we continue to wish you and yours safety and good health—and offer the following in hopes that it will provide a brief respite in your day at this (still) critical time…

In Cape May, New Jersey, Mother Nature decided to do her part to help out with social distancing…

In Los Angeles, California, the Dodgers have found a whole new way to “take me out of the ballgame”…

In Maricopa, Arizona, Daniel J. Danforth, 34, had some gambling debts… and apparently no easy way to meet them… so he set upon an illegal means of meeting that need… Now, we see plenty of instances of people robbing banks, breaking into stores and homes, and some just simply accosting people on the street… but Daniel had a unique approach… and not very effective, as it turns out…

Not exactly sure what is going on here… but nothing good, that’s for sure.

At the University of Georgia(these days, probably not at the University of Georgia), Sam Lee, 20, was taking her economics exam… online, of course… but as it turned out only got a 39.17 due to some truly unusual circumstances… involving… a meatball?

In Maumee, Ohio, an as-yet-unnamed man apparently got his dates mixed up on “take your child to work day”… but then, it’s not like this was actually a job… well, not a real “job”…

In Orem, Utah, an unnamed 28-year-old man, either convinced that his girlfriend was engaged in illegal activities or simply wanting to get her in trouble, showed up at the local police station with that allegation… backed up by video footage… unfortunately for him, there was another law he hadn’t taken into consideration…

And finally, in Huntington, New York, Robert Berger, 25, was slated to be sentenced to a year in jail on theft-related charges… so he fled the state… but then his fiancé showed up with a death certificate that would seem to make those charges moot… issued by the New Jersey Department of Health, Vital Statistics and Regsitry… there was just one little problem… and careful readers may have already spotted it… for the rest…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
