TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) in the middle(?) of a pandemic (and an election)… but (apparently) you (still) just can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has (still) happened to these guys and gals…

In Louisville, Kentucky, soon-to-be-wed Aubrey, 33, was “really upset” to discover that the wedding dress she ordered online… looked nothing like the picture on Milly Bridal’s website… which inspired her to fire off an angry email to the firm… and attach pictures of her in the dress to make her point… and she got a prompt response… and a resolution…

In Glengowrie, Adelaide, Australia, an unnamed 21-year-old driver slammed his Mitsubishi Magna into not one, but three steel and concrete power poles… and leaving his car in such a state that you can’t help but wonder how he walked away from it… and yes, we have pictures

Some days it seems as though those Amazon delivery trucks are everywhere… but the folks at the Boulder Point Golf Club in Oxford, Michigan can’t have been expecting this…

In Dallas, Georgia, Kimberly George Ragsdale showed up at the local Chick-fil-A… insisting that she was entitled to a free meal due to her profession… What was her claimed profession? Thought you’d never ask…

In Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, an unnamed man, frustrated with the impositions of a COVID-19 inspired lockdown… hit upon a unique way to bypass it… temporarily, anyway…

The folks in Lansing, Michigan have a bridge they’d like to sell you… kind of…

In Whatcom County, Washington, entomologists with the Washington State Department of Agriculture have located the first nest of the Asian giant hornets in the United States… The good news is, it was comparatively small… about one-fourth the size of some found in the Asian giant hornet’s native Japan… the bad news?

If you’re ever in McLouth, Kansas, this might be a road trip worth making…

And finally, in Florence, Oregon, it’s hard to believe that it’s been 50 years since… well, it was a whole different kind of “super spreader”

Have a great  weekend, folks!  Be careful out there—it’s Friday the 13th after all—and in 2020, why take a chance??  ;-}
