TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) in the midst of a pandemic… but (apparently) you (still) can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

Sometimes it pays to go back to bed…

First dates can be… awkward… and then there’s this.

And now for the main “events”:

In Manchester, UK, an unnamed 32-year-old hijacked a second-hand ambulance for an odd purpose… and, as it turns out, he not only lacked a license, but had been denied it… but what was even weirder than his objective in the matter… was what he was charged with…

In Schellsburg, Pennsylvania, Jared W. Lamburn, 20, was trying to siphon gas from a van… which turned out to have a locking gas cap, thwarting the attempt… Unfortunately for Jared, the van also had a camera… catching him in the act… Armed with that evidence, and following anonymous tips confirming his involvement, state police confronted Jared… who first denied he was the guy… until officers pointed out a very visible tattoo… at which point Jared changed his story… though it was no more believable…

Near Indianapolis, Indiana, Gabriel Sleiman, 33, was arrested for driving a black Lamborghini pretty fast on I-465 here… how pretty fast? Well, about 213 mph police said… now, as it turns out, police were nowhere around when Gabriel was driving so fast… So, how did they know, and with such precision, how fast he was going?

Near Tucumcari, New Mexico, State Police tried to end a high-speed chase with a suspected truck thief… and they did what law enforcement often do… they laid out a spike belt… there was just one little problem…

In West Providence Township, Pennsylvania… and carrying on through Everett Borough, Pennsylvania, Judson Minear, 32, is facing felony and misdemeanor charges… along with a large number of “traffic violations”… stemming from a recent car chase… So, how many traffic violations did he rack up?

In Abbeville, Louisiana, Paradise Thornton, 28, checked into the Sunbelt Lodge here… spent the night, and then checked out and left… but, unfortunately for Paradise, she left behind some of her belongings… fortunately, hotel staff found and reported it… unfortunately for Paradise…

And finally, in Northern Kentucky, Cody Lutz, his finance and soon-to-be sister-in-law took advantage of a recent rare-ish snowfall to build a snowman… and not just any snowman… this one was nine feet tall… And then, some miscreant, tempted by the sheer size of the creation, one supposes, decided to push it over… and then this happened…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
