TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) in the midst of a pandemic… but vaccines are coming (more every day)… though (apparently) you (still) can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

So, you’re proud of the snowman you just built. That’s nothing!

You can bet on pretty much anything these days… and apparently there was even a line on whether an individual would run out onto the field at last Sunday’s Super Bowl… and perhaps you saw the guy actually run out onto the field at last Sunday’s Super Bowl… Guess who bet on that?

Near Kingsbury, Indiana, there was a unique… and legen-dairy… event… You won’t want to miss this video!

And now for the main “events”:

In Kron, Ohio, DeAndre Barclay, 36, apparently really wanted a taco… But this was not the way to get it…

In Sandy, Oregon, Jeffrey Cannon was driving his red Volkswagen Jetta rapidly on Highway 26 here… rapidly enough that it drew the attention of a sheriff’s deputy… whose vehicle Jeffrey was rapidly approaching… The deputy pulled his patrol car to the right lane… to see if Jeffrey would pass him… and sure enough, he did… at between 80 and 90 miles per hour… So, he pulled Jeffrey over… though Jeffrey didn’t acknowledge him at first… instead Jeffrey’s Jetta rolled backwards… about 25 feet… hitting the front of the deputy’s patrol car… and then things got weird…

In Manhattan, New York, an unnamed 30-year-old man walked into a CVS here and made off with some goods, but his getaway didn’t live up to its name… as he wound up clinging to the side of a building… So, what did he make off with? Well, let’s hope he didn’t have to wait long for the police rescue…

In Whittier, California, Matthew Calleros, 45, a Los Angeles police officer, was able to close a case of a stolen truck… reporting it as “recovered”… which was true… sort of…

In Chalmette, Louisiana, Tessica Brown was short of hair spray… so she went with an alternative that held her hair in place… but a little too well… and a little too long…

And finally, we’ve all had our fair share of Zoom “fails” over the past year… but here’s one that is perhaps more than you’ve had to deal with…

Have a GREAT—and for many of us—LONG President’s Day weekend. That’s right, we’ll be off Monday—but see you back here, bright and early on Tuesday. Oh—and if you have a sweetheart, you might want to remember that Sunday is Valentine’s Day…
