TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) working our way through a pandemic… but vaccines are coming (more every day)… but you (still) can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

In case you missed it, as of March 15, 2021, the job titles of Elon Musk and Zach Kirkhorn have “evolved”…

For the numismatists among us… if you’ve spotted what looks to be a rare deal—on a “1975 Roosevelt Dime No Mint Mark?” Well, you might want to check this first.

Well, here’s something you don’t see every day… and the bidding starts at a mere $5.00…

Can’t stand being in another Zoom meeting? Fed up staring at your own face? Wondering why so many things that used to be handled by, say, a phone call, or an email, now suddenly require everyone’s floating head to sit in a virtual room and nod for an hour? There’s an app for that…

And now for the main “events”:

In Gig Harbor, Washington, an unnamed homeowner had an issue when a driver feel asleep… and ran into his house… but this was not your usual vehicle…

In Charlton, Massachusetts, an unnamed individual was attentively following GPS instructions… and presumably not looking for a car wash… but found one anyway…

In San Diego, California, an unnamed woman commandeered an unusual vehicle… and led police on what was termed a “low speed chase”… until it was finally brought to an end by an uncharacteristic source… and yes, we have video…

In Wolfforth, Texas, Eric Dion Warren took a drive with a BMW loaner… stopped to arrange financing for said vehicle… returned to the dealership and went to lay down $3,000 cash to finalize the purchase of the BMW… but there was an issue with his approach to “financing”…

In Chicago, Illinois, Marilyn Hartman, 69, had her plea for probation denied by a judge… her crime… trespassing… and she was caught doing so by virtue of an electronic monitoring device… which she was wearing due to her being charged with a previous trespassing charge… but what’s really weird is where she was caught… and where she was trespassing…

And finally, in Newburgh, New York, Robert Radek, 29, had a rough day with law enforcement… it started at 7:55 am when state troopers pulled him over in a 1994 Jeep Cherokee for “a vehicle and traffic law violation”… only to find out that Robert was not only driving with a suspended New York driver’s license… but was also in possession of crack co*caine… at which point, he was charged with a misdemeanor dr*ug charge, issued a ticket and ordered to appear in a Newburgh court on April 19… But then, about 2:30 pm the same trooper pulled Robert over… at which point he had changed to a 2007 Honda Civic… and was found to have 1.3 grams of heroin and crack cocaine in the car… again charged with a misdemeanor drug charge… issued a ticket and ordered to appear in a Newburgh court on… April 19… and then guess what happened at 5:45 pm…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
