TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) working our way through this pandemic…but you (still) can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First—some Odds & Ends

Some goofy rocks in a faraway place.

Better than bitcoin?

So guess what, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons was the most popular cosmetic procedure during 2020? No, not that. No, guess again.

This is (apparently) unbearable…

No more snow days for New York City schools?

And now for the main “events”:

In Washington, DC, as it turns out, it’s not just your Zoom call that has a mishap (or two)… apparently it even happens during a congressional hearing.

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an unnamed “porch pirate” developed an effective way to disguise his “activities”… if only he had paid as much attention to his getaway vehicle…

In Des Moines, Iowa, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Animal Services was called to an apartment complex here on reports of… an alligator… and yes, we have a picture.

In Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, Esteban Latorre-Cacho was pulled over for (apparently) driving for a mile in the left lane with no one to pass, as well as going 65 mph in a 55-mph zone… once pulled over, once “numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed”… Esteban consented to a search of his vehicle… and apparently there were even more indicators of criminal activity there…

In Fripp Island, South Carolina, an unnamed golfer at the Fripp Island Resort here… is in hot water after posing for a picture on the golf course… though in fairness, the trouble has to do with what he was doing on the golf course…

And finally, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, an unnamed visitor to the Gettysburg National Military Park found himself trapped… by an unusual event… and in a more unusual place…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! And a very happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there!
