TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) working our way through this pandemic… but things are looking so much better every day…that said, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

The Definitive Rules For Airplane Armrest Allocation

In Brisbane, Australia, Casey Apiata has put together a unique piece of art… and put the “artifact” online for sale… and for this art received surprisingly high bids… particularly in view of what it is…

In Austin, Texas, boaters on Lady Bird Lake had a close call…

In Broward County, Florida, a lightning strike hit the antenna of a Nissan… causing damage to the car’s electrical system… and this on I-75…

Somewhere in the UK, a transit van was parked… badly… blocking the entrance to a farm where a delivery was being attempted… so, unable to locate the driver of said transit van to move it, the delivery driver took matters into his own hands… and dumped a load of slurry all over the van... What’s slurry?  We thought you’d never ask…

And now for the main “events”:

In Decatur Township, Pennsylvania, William Shutt, 46, was riding a camouflage minibike… through a gas station parking lot one recent morning… when he was spotted by a state trooper, who knew he was wanted on a warrant… and so hit the lights… whereupon William made a U-turn and sped away… along the way, driving in the opposite lane toward oncoming traffic… and rode over sidewalks… before crashing… and being apprehended… whereupon it became even more obvious why he ran…

In Tyler, Texas, there have been any number of instances where burglars break into buildings to make off with some valuable item(s) or other… and then there’s this guy…

And finally, in Hudson, New Hampshire, Jason Shea, 41, was charged with DUI, disobeying an officer and three counts of criminal mischief… With regard to the latter charge(s)… well, let’s just say that when you gotta go, you apparently gotta go… and when you gotta go… again…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks—and Happy Father’s Day!
