TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

Some pretty cool brick architecture.

Near Keene, New Hampshire, the state police made a “wise” move… and a good deed all at the same time…

“Missed” it by… that much…

Bunnies 1, French Army 0

In Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, an unnamed man was digging a well in his backyard… when he came across something with an estimated value of up to $100 million… and yes, we have a picture…

In Valley View, Texas, at the Whitehorse Steakhouse you can get a five-course meal… and what?

And now for the main “events”:

Near the Casdepaga River, Alaska, you may have heard the harrowing tale of Richard “Tim” Jessee who was recently riding his ATV across Big Four Creek here, when he was attacked by a grizzly, and in the process had his ATV, the trailer he was towing, and his phone sink to the bottom of the creek… after which he found refuge in his cabin, painted “SOS HELP ME” on the roof, and was—four days later—helped by a passing Coast Guard helicopter… or did he?

In Waterbury, Connecticut, a car theft came to an abrupt, but fortunately non-critical, end after the 20-year-old driver tried to dodge a parked car… and then illegally pass another vehicle… which led to him flipping several times after that… and yes, we have video…

Speaking of vehicle thefts, near Hamilton, Montana, Kacey Shane Gessner, 32, and Brittany Rai Treib (of undisclosed age) ran out of fuel with the vehicle they stole, and abandoned it on Hwy 93… though this was not your usual abandoned vehicle…

In Brooklyn, New York, a would-be robber tried to steal money from a 25-year-old… in broad daylight (and on camera, as it turns out)… his would-be victim fought back, however… and got some help from passers-by… and as for our would-be robber… well, let’s just say they got the “drop” on him… and yes, we have pictures…

And finally, in Bessemer, Michigan, Trent Perlich, 19, was recently found guilty by a 12-person jury of three separate counts of criminal se.xual conduct in the 1st degree… and each of those counts is a felony… carrying up to life in prison with a mandatory minimum term of 25 years… including lifetime electronic monitoring as a registered sex offender… Now during the trial, Trent was allowed to remain free on bond… and he made all court appearances… but then, while the jury was deliberating…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! Where has July gone?
