TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Some Odds & Ends

This could have been one of those fish tales… but we have it on video…

You invite a special entertainer to your 6-year-old’s birthday party… what could go awry? And yes, we have pictures…

In SaskatoonSaskatchewan, Canada, an unnamed 34-year old needed to pick up an ice cream cake from the local Dairy Queen… but he did it in a most unusual vehicle… oh, and it created some legal trouble…

From Cape Canaveral, Florida… Scientists have a better handle on asteroid Bennu’s whereabouts for the next 200 years… the bad news is…

And now for the main “events”:

In Eastbourne, UK, Alan Slattery, 67, over the space of two weeks tried to rob three different banks… using a note that said, “Your screen won’t stop what I’ve got, just hand over the 10s and the 20s. Think about the other customers”… There was just one little problem with his approach…

In Upper Marlboro, Maryland, an unnamed driver came upon some road repairs… where crews had been working to repair a broken 30-inch water main about 4 a.m.… around which crews set up cones and barriers… but none of that stopped our intrepid driver… or his Cadillac… though it should have… and yes, we have pictures…

In Edmund, Oklahoma, an unnamed man had been arrested, and had just been handcuffed by police… when he made an escape… stole a four-wheel ATV… and made a run for it… a lengthy run as it turns out… and one that reached 70 mph… before… well, it ended. And yes, we have video…

In Cambridge, Vermont, Mykola Onukevych, 30, was driving a truck towing a trailer on the Noth Road here… which is apparently referred to as “the Notch”… not sure exactly why, but apparently he failed to see the flashing signs to avoid the area… or to follow his GPS… though he did see ‘No T-T Units’ signs… Regardless, he got stuck… and apparently he’s not the first…

In Adelaide, Australia, a group of as many as six individuals broke into a store here… and made off with a large number of rare Digimon trading cards and board games… so, you may be saying to yourself, “how does one cash in on such a haul?”… well, not this way…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks – and be careful out there! It’s Friday the 13th, after all!
