TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some ‘Odds & Ends’

Of the over six million articles in the English Wikipedia, there are some articles that Wikipedians have identified as being somewhat unusual. And indeed, they are…

In Tampa Bay, Florida, a 4,700-square-foot estate… with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a three-car garage, a basketball half-court and a $1.5 million pool… has just come on the market… but it’s the pool’s “extras” you’ll want to check out…

The origin of time zones…

Brown Friday? Apparently it’s a thing. For plumbers.

Mega-Spider.

And now for the main ‘events’:

In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Pollock, 59, arrived at the Family Division Complex for a hearing… he attempted to go through the metal detectors… but he kept triggering the machine when walking through… so then, Jeffrey did something quite unusual (and apparently unlawful) to resolve the situation… oh, and you’ll never guess what he does for a living…

Tesla self-driving test. Let’s just say… not yet.

In Tucson, Arizona, Kim Egita was headed up I-10 in Arizona… noticed traffic putting on brakes as an Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper crouched on the side of the road… and then found out why… the hard way…

In Ontario, Canada, an unnamed youth was tracked down as part of an investigation regarding cryptocurrency theft… with local police, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the U.S. Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force… some $46 million (Canadian) worth of cryptocurrency, in fact… so, what did the youth buy with his ill-gotten gains?

Near Baudette, Minnesota, Conservation Officer Corey Sura was checking fishermen at Wheeler’s Point public access… approached Michael Sysa, 22… and inquired as to how the fishing had been… told that it had been good… he was directed to the catch that Michael (and his compatriots David Sysa, 23, and Yevgeniy Simonovich, 29), planned to take home… which, as it turned out, was two over the catch limit of 26… Officer Sura then asked if there were any (more) fish in Michael’s truck… told they weren’t, he nonetheless opened the tailgate… and then…

Over the Skagit River, Washington, an unnamed 46-year-old woman is surely counting her lucky stars following an accident involving her automobile… and a semi-truck… in which her car was “folded in half”… and the semi came to a stop on top of her car… incredibly, she suffered only minor injuries… and yes, we have pictures…

In Durham, North Carolina, John Bray and his wife, Marissa Minnick, were awakened at about 3:30 a.m. one recent Saturday by the crash of an SUV (which turned out to be stolen) into their house… but what’s weird… and more than a little creepy… is where a sign that the SUV “took out” wound up… and yes, we have pictures…

And finally, in South Rockford, Michigan, Wendy Lynn Wein, 52, has been charged with trying to arrange the murder of her husband… What’s eye-rolling is how she set about trying to arrange it…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
