TGIF. No, Really.

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, an unnamed man didn’t pay enough attention to the marked work area here… of course, it was 2:15 in the morning…

If you were looking forward to watching the Kitten Bowl on Sunday… we have some sad news…

Think NFTs are cool? Not this time.

And now for the main “events”:

In North Yorkshire, UK, Mason James Cowgill, a former delivery driver, was just sentenced to eight months in prison for causing a crash while drinking on the job… and did so on video that may warrant him for consideration as the world’s most distracted driver…

In Yekaterinburg, Russia, the Yeltsin Center was displaying “Three Figures,” a painting by Russian artist Anna Leporskava… but then a couple of art lovers spotted something that had been done to the painting… which had been worth £740,000….

In Chelsea, Michigan, a local business noticed one recent morning that a piece of artwork was… missing from its wall… and while they were able to locate it rather quickly… the tale of its disappearance was… unusual…

In Lincoln, Nebraska, an unnamed man was driving his 2016 Dodge Ram pickup… and giving an acquaintance of his a ride… when he decided to stop at the Walmart to make a purchase… He left his friend in the pickup… and when he returned… well, his pickup was… gone… he was able to recover it in short order… but that wasn’t the end of the missing…

In Tarpon Springs, Florida, Stephen Whalen, 32, was driving a PT Cruiser here when he was spotted by a police officer who knew him from a “prior police related incident”… and was aware his driver’s license had been revoked… Taken into custody, he was found to have a backpack in which he had what he described as “breath mints”… well, not exactly…

In Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Bradford Weitzel, 38, left a Martin County bar early Saturday morning… only to find that his car was missing… and so, in order to find it he… stole another car… except he didn’t get far before it stalled out… and where, you won’t believe… and then it gets… interesting…

In Tempe, Arizona, Home Depot employee Adrian Jean Pineda has been arrested for passing $387,500 in counterfeit U.S. currency… over a four-year period… and how he did it was kind of interesting…

In Lincoln, Nebraska, and unnamed 17-year-old student at Lincoln Southwest High school here was lighting and throwing fireworks out of his vehicle at around 10:31 p.m… And then, while attempting to throw one of the lit fireworks out of the vehicle… the firework bounced into the back seat… and then…

And finally, in Sydney, Australia, Alyssa Lambert, 25, was startled when she spotted a spider in her bedroom… Now, she had planned to apply some bug spray to rid herself of the arachnid… but then, moments later… as she stood on her bed trying to get the spider, she jumped off in fright… but when she landed… well, things took a turn for the worse…

Have a GREAT Super Bowl weekend, folks!
