TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again —and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In New York, NY, a group of students at the Fashion Institute of Technology were recently terrified by the sounds of something crawling… through a ceiling light fixture… and yes, we have pictures/video…

Well, I suppose someone has to be the guinea pig for this world record…

6 ‘Russian’ Things You're Boycotting That Aren't Actually Russian

In Italy, David Rush (from Idaho), who has broken more than 200 Guinness records to promote STEM education… broke another. For what? And while on vacation...

And now for the main “events”:

Near San Diego, California, an unnamed 30-year-old man arrived at the San Ysidro border crossing with Mexico… and was pulled out for additional inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection… who found in small bags “which were concealed in the man’s jacket, pants pockets, and groin area”…

In Detroit, Michigan, Chozen Terrell-Hannah, 22 (who has been arrested by the FBI… after investigators were able to connect him to a string of armed robberies)… who, ironically, is said to be a “rising TikTok star,” was identified due to a TikTok post… that left him as the “sole” suspect in the case…

In Apex, North Carolina, Devin Alexander Stenulis, 34, was arrested recently on a charge of impersonating a law enforcement officer… and it’s not the first time. Wait—how many has it been?

In Atlanta, Georgia, Ryan Coogler walked into a Bank of America branch here… masked (as many still are these days)… and handed the teller a note… written on the back of a withdrawal slip… that said, “I would like to withdraw $12,000 cash from my checking account. Please do the money count somewhere else. I’d like to be discreet”… so guess what the teller did…

In Buffalo, New York, Kahill Reeves, 18, appears to have a bit of problem with police… one that involves vehicle theft crimes and car chases… guess how many over the past two months?

In Austin, Texas, apparently there have been 100 car burglaries within 2,000 feet of the Mount Bonnell park so far this year… but last year they tried installing some cameras as a deterrent… but…

And finally, in Las Vegas, Nevada, people in one east Las Vegas neighborhood were puzzled by a substance that had been falling from the sky and onto their properties… for three weeks… covering nearly everything around them… well, the Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability has found out what the black, brown, and sometimes oil-like substance was.

Have a great weekend, folks! Many (most?) of you will be “springing forward” this weekend! Oh, well—we’ll have all those circadian rhythms sorted out in a week or two..
