TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In Chicago, Illinois, businessman Willie Wilson gave away $200,000 in fuel at 10 different gas stations throughout the city… Basically, starting at 7 a.m., each vehicle received $50 in gas… until $200,000 was exhausted… which wound up being about three hours… There were, however, some issues…

Speaking of the Windy City, the dyeing of the Chicago River has become synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the United States, but where did the tradition originate?

Suddenly… SLOTH.

You may remember stories from the 1970s about the exploding whale on an Oregon beach… but did you hear about the “involvement” of a brand new Oldsmobile 98? And yes, we have video (this is a classic)…

And now for the main “events”:

In Estero, Florida, Jermaine Wofford, 47, had been called to repair a refrigerator at a local retail store… and walked out with…

In Eugene, Oregon, Darren Drake, 39, has been shipping packages labeled “chocolates” across the United States… except, as you might suspect, they weren’t…

In Daytona Beach, Florida, an unnamed would-be Evel Knievel… failed. On the other hand, he was pulling a trailer… and yes, we have video…

In China, an unnamed man had purchased some “medicinal wine”… with snakes soaking in them as a remedy for his ill son… and then, apparently left it on the shelf… for a year… and when he finally got around to opening it…

In Lakeland, Florida, Yulier Garcia-Martinez and Rogelio Llerena tried to enact a theft of gasoline from a Circle K here… ah, but how they did it…

From Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania, here’s a headline that you don’t see every day…

And finally, in Spring Hill, Florida Thomas Eugene Colucci had a problem… and so he called 911… Now, arguably he had laudable intentions… but this is not a reason to call 911… on several counts…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
