Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

In Elgin, Texas, this truck took a licking, and kept on… well, driving… and yes, we have video…

And now for the main “events”:
In Vero Beach, Florida, Kristin Wiley, 49, nearly hit a police car that was pulled over to deal with an unrelated incident as she drove by it around 2 a.m… So when asked if she had been drinking (and there was evidence of it), Kristin denied it… then this happened…
In Greenfield, Wisconsin, an as yet-unnamed-man broke into the Speedway here around 4 a.m… tried to get to the cash registers… but couldn’t get through the bulletproof glass… but he didn’t walk away empty-handed…
In Port Richey, Florida, Gary Rodriguez, 22, arranged to meet a seller he met on Facebook Marketplace to make an acquisition of an Xbox… however, once the seller showed Gary the gaming console… he “acquired” it… without paying for it… That said, Gary was apprehended quickly… and offered an unusual explanation for his (mis)behavior…
In Toledo, Ohio, Bruce and Magdalena Greenfield recently won a $2 million jackpot… Now, they hadn’t actually entered the contest, which perhaps should have been a hint of trouble… but, unfortunately, it took them awhile to catch on…
In Clearwater, Florida, an unnamed man broke into a Sam Ash Music store here about 4:45 am… entering through a window near the roof… Then he walked a perimeter ledge around the building… at which point he lost his balance… and fell three stories… striking a lamp post and a guitar display on the way down… He was able to use an amplifier to break through a glass door and leave the building… but he failed to make a clean getaway..
And finally, near Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Jared Thielbar, 41, had broken into a home here… Caught, he was charged with fleeing and eluding, breaking and entering, motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle… but the real eye-roller is what he stole… and why?
