TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

You know that whole “Don’t stand under a tree during a storm” thing? Yeah, here’s why…

For those looking for new and unique job opportunities, here’s one…

And now for the main “events”:

In Clearwater, Florida, Sarah Franks, 29, and Kaitlin O’Donovan, 27, caught a break recently when prosecutors declined to pursue criminal charges against the two for breaking into the home of one Jacob Colon about 3 am recently and… huh?

In Dorr Township, Michigan, just after 2:00 p.m. recently near US-131… Mike Rodriguez commented that he was “…exiting coming up to the stop sign, I heard a thump, and I just happened to look up to my left and…” Well, we have video… and you won’t believe it…

In Seattle, Washington, police were summoned after a recent shoplifting incident at a local art gallery… and they got away with something you wouldn’t think would be easy to miss…

In Harris County, Texas, Justin David Brown, 38, led police on a 20-minute chase recently… at speeds reaching… 18 mph?

In Oak Park, California, Alexis Provoste, 43, had gotten into a house here… and was in the process of robbing it… when the homeowner returned… And while Alexis tried to get away…

In Metairie, Louisiana, an unnamed man was tired of his truck getting broken into… so he did this…

In Parkland, Florida, a prospective juror offered several potential conflicts in timing that made it problematic for her to participate… including one you don’t often hear people proffer…

And finally, in Ferndale, Michigan, David A. Jones, 57, was cleared recently as psychologically competent to participate in court proceedings… following a series of events that culminated in charges of two counts each of attempted murder and assaulting, and resisting or obstructing police, and single counts of third-degree fleeing and eluding police, malicious destruction of police property, malicious destruction of a building less than $200, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, driving with an open intoxicant, and driving while license suspended… So, what is David’s day job?

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! Thrilled to have seen so many of you at Summit this past week—We’ll be in San Diego in 2023… April 2-4!
