TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again—and yes, you (apparently still) can’t “shelter” stupid… just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, a woman known only as Candela suffered a sudden drop in blood pressure… and fainted… in a subway station… where she fell, and that she survived unharmed is… unbelievable… and yes, we have video (warning: while all turned out fine, this is pretty intense)…

In Bloomington, Indiana, shoppers at a local Walmart stumbled across something you don’t expect to find on the shelves at Walmart…

Twitter shorthand… courtesy of… who?

Sure, gas prices are high… but is New Jersey really ready for this?

And now for the main “events”:

In Las Vegas, Nevada, Jesus Colmenares, 29, faces charges of battery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, assault and owning or possessing a gun by a prohibited person… ah, but how was Jesus identified? Well, it was a tad ironic…

In Bloomington, Minnesota, Skylar Eros Dupree Thomas, 29, has been charged with fifth-degree assault and trespassing in connection with an incident at the Hyatt Place Hotel here… When confronted by hotel personnel, he drew a… what?

In Bridgeport, West Virginia, pulled over at a traffic stop for driving a vehicle with improper registration, Roy Porter, 57, handed officers a packet that they thought was the registration of the vehicle… Well, it was that, and just a bit more…

In Memphis, Tennessee, Catherine Mardesich, 54, (briefly) abandoned her SUV on a southbound lane of traffic on the bridge between Memphis and West Memphis… an SUV that had been struck… and while law enforcement was moving the vehicle out of the way, Catherine returned… but expressed concern about the law enforcement officials inventorying the vehicle before moving it… Turns out there was a reason…

In Greenfield, Massachusetts, an unnamed driver drove past road closure barricades… and onto the General Pierce Bridge here one recent morning around 7:30 a.m.… Apparently there was a reason those barricades were up… as the driver… who has been charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and other civil infractions… soon discovered…

And finally, near Brinnon, Washington (more specifically on the top of Mount Walker), an unnamed woman in her 40s was “answering nature’s call”… and while in a “vault toilet”… using her phone… dropped it…  Well, she reportedly tried to dismantle the toilet… first by taking off the seat and housing to get her phone… then using her dog’s leashes to help support her while trying to fish the phone out… but that didn’t work… and then…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
