TGIF. No, Really.

Well, here we are again at the end of another work week (and another month)—and just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In Auckland, Australia, Matthew Griffin has just unveiled a new exhibit with what has been described as a “provocative gesture”… and it’s listing for NZ$10,000… It’s been called “genius,” “brilliant”… and “moronic”… judge for yourself…

Guess how much the jacket worn by astronaut Buzz Aldrin on the first moon mission just sold for?

In St. Charles, Illinois, if the car accident doesn’t get you, the ambulance bill might…

In Apex, North Carolina, school is not in session at Apex Friendship Elementary School… but perhaps those who made this sign should think about signing up for some spelling classes…

And now for the main “events”:

In San Francisco, California, Desiree and Jeff Jolly have lived here for decades… and have been parking in a specific spot at the corner of Larkin and Union streets… well, for 25 years… but they recently got ticketed ($180 worth) for parking in a red zone… So, how did that happen?

In Melbourne, Florida, an unnamed 39-year-old man was arrested on allegations of driving while under the influence… but on what… and where… were a bit unusual…

In Phoenix, Arizona, Catharine Rasavsky, owner of the Poor Little Rich Girl shop here, was recently robbed by… a cat burglar? No, really… a woman wearing a “feline type costume with high heels”… and yes, we have video…

In Salisbury, North Carolina, an unnamed woman… apparently angered at her ex-boyfriend… sought to seek revenge… by setting fire to his house… or what she apparently thought was his house…

In Portage, Michigan, investigative reporters have uncovered what appears to be a scam… involving violins…

And finally, in Malmesbury, UK, a pair of individuals crashed into a building here… then fled that crash… through fields, trees, forests, gardens and allotments (?) for around 15 minutes… but eventually they were thwarted by a protective mother…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
