TGIF. No, Really.

Well, here we are again at the end of another work week—and just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

Talk about your traumatic experiences…

In Toronto, Canada, Brendan Donovan—who happens to play for my beloved St. Louis Cardinals—apparently has a beef about a recent at-bat where he went “down” not swinging at three called strikes… and apparently he has a legitimate complaint…

Wordle… is… gulpexpanding…

In Kenbridge, Virginia, Kimberly Slaughter was at a local Shoppers Value store… when she noticed a bag of popcorn had a hole in the upper right corner… and then…

And now for the main “events”:

In Darwin, Australia, an unnamed traveler returning from Bali was slapped with a $2,664 fine… for an undeclared item in their baggage…

In New Hampshire, Alejandro Zapata-Rebello, 30, from Danbury, Connecticut… was checking out the “capabilities” of an orange 2021 Chevrolet Corvette… travelling at speeds between 130 and 161 mph… and guess how we know that…

In Sao Paolo, Brazil, an unnamed man did what many increasingly do these days… opted for a little self “improvement” based on YouTube video instructions… but clearly, there are (should be?) limits…

In… well, on Reddit, an unnamed woman (albeit one with the user name DanyHeatley50in07) was looking to take some cute photos with her dog… including one where she put her engagement ring on her dog’s nose… and tells it to stay while she goes to take the picture…

In DeKalb, Georgia, an unnamed man went to enter a Little Caesars restaurant here… but not through the front door… and that created a bit of a sticky situation...

And finally, in Kamiah, Idaho, Brian Gilgert, 58, was pulled over for a traffic violation… got out of his car, walked toward a nearby riverbank… and proceeded to throw something into the river… unfortunately for Brian, the item didn’t make it to the river… but bounced off a tree… unfortunately, because of what it turned out to be when law enforcement picked it up…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
