TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and the beginning of a new month—and still, just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

In South Haven, Michigan, a dive time training session at a local water park found some interesting things that riders had left behind…including 11 Apple smart watches, six pairs of goggles, three wrenches, two Fitbits...and HOW many pairs of glasses?

In Vacaville, California, a truck crash left Interstate 80 with quite the squishy mess…and yes, we have pictures…

And in Memphis, Tennessee, a (different) truck left a (different, but related) squishy mess…

And then we have the world’s biggest…what?

Can’t choose between flat screen or curved?  Now there’s a solution.

Speak now or forever hold your…huh?

Ceola McGowan, 31, from County Sligo, Ireland, after beating competitors from Sweden, Germany, and Estonia…has been crowned world champion in an unusual sport…and she’s got an interesting training approach, to boot…

And now for the main “events”:

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet… words to live by…

Natthamon Khongchak, known as Nutty’s Diary on YouTube—boasts over 800,000 subscribers—her claim to fame—being a successful forex trader… so successful that she promised 25% returns for three-month contracts and 30% returns for six-month contracts…for 12-month contracts, even more… so, how’s that going?

Near Plano, Texas, Brandy Bottone, 32, was pulled over for driving—alone—in the HOV lane. But Brandy didn’t see it that way—and while it’s not her first time offense, this time she thinks the U.S. Supreme Court is on her side…

In Bartow, Florida, Dr. Lacey Golden, principal of Spessard Holland Elementary arrived at work one morning recently…only to find that someone else had parked in their designated space…someone that required the assistance of law enforcement to remove…all 7 feet and 11 inches…

In New Albany, Indiana, Ralph Weaver, 37, was arrested for impersonating an officer…ironically, he’s currently a sheriff's deputy with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department…

And finally, in Snohomish County, Washington, Sean Stewart, 27, has been fishing…without a license…but not what you might think…it involves a rodent-glue trap attached to a fishing hook and fishing line… so what is Sean fishing for…and how has it gotten him in trouble with the law…

Have a GREAT Labor Day weekend, folks!  We’ll be off on Monday for the Labor Day holiday—but we’ll see you back here on Tuesday!
