TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

First, some “Odds & Ends”

World’s fastest shark…beached…and then…

In Richmond, Texas, an unnamed couple got a little more than they bargained for with a government surplus purchase…

In Long Grove, Illinois the recently renamed Robert Parker Coffin Bridge probably needs another name…one that conjures up visions of déjà vu…

And now for the main “events”:

In Chico, California, an unnamed 57-year-old was charged with identity theft and multiple counts of forgery for writing checks from the account of Kevin Olson, 64, his roommate…and there’s a morbid twist…

In Palm Beach, Florida, an unnamed patron of a local Burger King accidentally left a debit card on a table there…which was picked up, and then set back down by another patron…but then a Burger King employee picked it up…and gave it to the night manager, one Jamie Damont Jacobs, 42…who put the card in the store’s safe…but then…

In Victoria, New South Wales, law enforcement is looking for this individual… it shouldn’t take long…

In Hernando County, Florida, Aaron Ward, 29, James Donnelly, 28, and Oleksiy Naumenko, 27, were arrested and charged with grand theft…for theft of government property… and probably not what you would expect…

In Saline, Michigan, a police officer spotted two apparently intoxicated people walking back to their vehicles…determining that neither was in a state to be driving, the officer drove them to one of their homes…but then…just 90 minutes later…

In Miami, Florida, Martin Mobarak, a millionaire wanted to boost the value of a nonfungible token (NFT)…now, this may be a way to do so…but it’s really not…

And finally, in Lincoln, Nebraska, an unidentified miscreant drove up to Borland Wildlife Solutions here…hitched a trailer to their truck…and drove off… but just wait till they find out what was in the trailer…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks! Hoping all in Ian’s path stay safe…
