TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)… In Mendon, Vermont, Nabila Altahan, 30, was headed west on U.S. Route 4… when she passed her intended destination… prompting her GPS to tell her that she needed to "turn around”… which she did… perhaps a bit too suddenly… Near Phoenix, Arizona, John Norman Davis Reynolds, 24, drew the attention of a state trooper… and not just because he was clocked doing 80 mph on U.S. 60 here… though that was certainly a factor… In Staffordshire, UK, an unnamed 27-year-old man was pulled over by police… who subsequently found 12 kg of suspected cann.abis in the vehicle… so, what drew their attention to this particular vehicle? In Atlanta, Georgia, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Taylor Heinicke will miss the start of training camp because of a leg injury… but he didn’t get it while practicing… well, not practicing football, anyway… And finally, in Frederick County, Maryland, Angela Weir, 47, and her husband were driving eastbound on I-70 here about 5:00 a.m., when they saw an accident involving a tractor trailer carrying liquid asphalt and a slow moving dump truck (which had no lights on, apparently)… The dump truck overturned, spilling its load of concrete across all lanes of westbound I-70… and the tractor trailer jackknifed and caught fire… Angela, a nurse at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, vaulted over the jersey wall to get to the accident victims as her husband called 911… but she didn’t realize what was on the other side of that wall… Have a great weekend, folks!
