TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Memphis, Tennessee, Joshua Scott told police that he had been carjacked… by a man who struck him in the face and stole his 2011 Nissan Sentra… Well, as it turns out, when investigators followed up on the report, they determined there were “some inconsistencies”… What kind of inconsistencies? I thought you’d never ask…

In Morgantown, West Virginia, Chloe Jones was checking Facebook, and commented on a “Top Ten Most Wanted List” post by the Greene County (Pennsylvania) Sheriff’s Office featuring… Chloe Jones, writing, “Do you guys do pick up or delivery??”… complete with four crying-laughing emojis… but then got into an argument with other commenters on the post… and somewhere along the line mentioned that she was at a hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia… and guess what happened next? She’s no longer on the “most wanted’ list…

At the Grand Canyon… there are (apparently) a lot of ways to meet an untimely demise in this national park… about a dozen each year, according to park spokeswoman Vanessa Ceja… but you might be surprised to find out the leading cause…

In Beaverton, Oregon, an unnamed house sitter returned to hear someone in the bathroom… and the door locked… and he could see… and hear… movement behind the door… so, he called 911… Seven minutes later, deputies arrived… surrounded the house… called in a K9 to help… order the suspect to surrender… but he doesn’t budge… so, 10 minutes later, the deputies break into the bathroom with weapons drawn… and find…

In Londonderry, New Hampshire… well, let’s just call this one “ironic”…

In Ridgefield, Connecticut, a group of 15-20 parents were looking to dry out the field at Governor Park before a Saturday baseball game… and managed to discover a way that may have dried the field… but not in a way that made it suitable for play

In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Benjamin Stallings Love, 24, went to steal several items from a local Walmart… including a knife, a propane tank regulator, a pack of Hanes T-shirts, and… huh? And where exactly did he hide that?

And finally, in Pasco County, Florida, Oasis Mcleod, 18, Jeniyah Mcleod, 19, and Cecilia Young, 19, drew the attention of passers-by, who summoned law enforcement… The ladies got into a white 2009 Nissan Sentra and drove off… and a state trooper began to pursue them north of I-75, but then cancelled the chase… But then another driver called in to report a “reckless vehicle,” and another trooper responded… tracked the vehicle to a convenience store parking lot… and when they tried to arrest one of the women as she left the store… another purposely drove directly at the trooper… while another got out of the car with a metal bat and tried to hit the trooper after he jumped out of the way of the car… before another responding trooper rammed the suspects’ vehicle with a marked patrol car… But they managed to drive off… only to eventually be stopped by some “stop sticks” to deflate the vehicle's tires… Even then, and after officers busted out windows of the vehicle to make an arrest, the women interlocked arms to keep from being arrested… eventually having to be tasered before being taken into custody… so what were they doing to instigate all this “activity?”

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
