TGIT. No, Really.

TGIF

OK, it’s Thursday, not Friday… but most of us won’t be “here” tomorrow… and as we prepare to (safely) celebrate America’s declaration of independence… check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Huyton, UK, two unnamed women, aged 33 and 35, were involved in an accident here… more specifically, their white Mercedes smashed into a blue Ford Focus… more specifically, a parked blue Ford Focus… around 4:15 am… Yes, alcohol was apparently involved… but you won’t believe what these ladies did whist waiting for the police to arrive…

In Huber Heights, Ohio, Dustin A. Hatfield, 28, was indicted in a case of robbery and murder… I’m betting he wasn’t hard to pick out of a line-up…

So, you know how it’s said a new car loses a lot of value once it drives off the lot? Well, in West Yorkshire, UK, that was certainly the case for this $300,000 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder…

In Bridge Bay Campground, Yellowstone National Park, an unnamed 72-year-old woman wanted to get a picture of a nearby bison… how nearby?... well, apparently 10 feet… which appears to be too close… at least for multiple close approaches…

In Seabeck, Washington, an unnamed and allegedly inebriated driver smashed into a Chevron gas station along the Seabeck Highway here… then drove away from the scene… but then abandoned his vehicle, and then ran off into the nearby woods… where he was quickly tracked down… but check out where he abandoned his vehicle…

In South Yorkshire, UK, Matthew Grice, 50, his partner Sara Kennard, 47, and their 10-year-old daughter, Hollie… heard an “immense” buzzing around their house… and no wonder…

Near Davenport, California, deputies responding to a report of a man firing a handgun in the air… came across a suspect who had just carjacked someone… and gave chase… at speeds of more than 100 mph… Now, as it turns out, deputies called off the pursuit as they neared Santa Cruz over safety concerns for bystanders… but the suspect kept driving… well, until…

And finally, in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska, Dawson Cody Porter, 22, used a piece of lumber… to break a window of the King Salmon Fire Station here… and made his way inside the building around 9:00 p.m.… Once there, Dawson started up a fire truck… and drove it through the station’s closed bay doors… switched on the fire truck’s emergency overhead lights… and headed to…

Have a GREAT Independence Day weekend, folks! We’ll be off tomorrow—but see you back here on Monday!
