Today the National Association of Plan Advisors launches its second annual campaign to identify the best of the next generation of advisors: NAPA’s Young Guns.
One of the things that sets the list apart from other published lists is that it is based on a nominating/voting/selection process that taps into the knowledge and real-world experience of NAPA’s more than 10,000 members.
The selection process is based on a three-part process:
- Firm Partner Nominations: The process starts with NAPA’s Broker Dealer and RIA Firm Partners submitting their nominations. Those have been submitted and loaded into the voting portal.
- Voting and Open Nominations: Next, NAPA members and NAPA Net Daily subscribers will vote for their favorites using an online voting portal, or submit additional nominees to be added to the voting portal. Note that advisors are not allowed to vote for themselves, and no one who works at their firm is allowed to vote for them, either.
- Selection: The final vote tallies will be reviewed by a NAPA blue ribbon committee, which will select the 2015 top advisors under 40.
The list will be published in the Summer issue of NAPA Net the Magazine and posted here on NAPA Net.
Voting ends at midnight ET, April 10.
