Who’s Your Pick to Win the World Series?

On Oct. 22, the 2018 World Series will begin – bringing together two of baseball’s oldest franchises, though they’ve only met once before in the World Series.

This 114th edition of the World Series will be played between the American League (AL) champion Boston Red Sox and the National League (NL) champion Los Angeles Dodgers. It will be the first back-to-back appearance in the so-called Fall Classic for the Dodgers since the 1977 World Series and 1978 World Series, and the 20th appearance for the team.

As for the Red Sox, this is the fourth World Series appearance by the Red Sox since ending the Curse of the Bambino in 2004 and their 13th overall.

This week, we’d like to know who you’re rooting for – and who you think will win (because, after all, they might be different).

And then – just for fun – give you a chance to pick the best baseball movie.

You can check out this week’s NAPA Net reader poll at https://www.research.net/r/7GPFGJ6.

And, of course, we’ll have it all wrapped up for you on Friday.

Oh – the last time these two teams met in a World Series? It was 1916, when the Dodgers were known as the Brooklyn Robins.
