Trump to Take on Retirement

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on retirement security at a public appearance in Charlotte, NC on Friday.

The White House announced the appearance Tuesday.

Published reports note that at around 2:00 p.m., President Trump is scheduled to go to Central Piedmont Community College’s Harris Conference Center, where the White House says he’ll deliver remarks and sign an executive order titled “strengthening retirement security in America.”

A spokeswoman said the order is part of an administration policy “to promote programs that enhance retirement security and expand access to workplace retirement savings plans for American workers.”

Trump will be accompanied by Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta and Linda McMahon, administrator of the Small Business Administration.
